On Diabetes Health, Lynn Cuny talks about some of the changes she has made to her diet to ward off diabetes. Due to her American Indian genes and predisposition she was more susceptible to diabetes but she promised her uncle, who had diabetes, that she would do everything she could to avoid diabetes.

She always craved coffee and giving up was hard due to the withdrawal.

She went through a steep learning curve on the kinds of foods that would keep her healthy and give her the fuel to maintain her exercise and lifestyle. “All the things I craved were not healthy, and all the things I never ate as a child were the foods I needed to eat”.

Coffee is now a distant memory and Lynn educates others on how to live healthier lives.
